MC X Yubel

Yubel:
"just let her go. she can't harm you. she is a useless child. how can you see a thread in her?"

MC: "You're useless." I go off into the mansion and order the guards to be on alert for Leona. If they see her, they are to trap and destroy her.

Yubel:
I follow here and tell the guards not to listen to her. "are you forgetting who the King is? are you forgetting whose flesh and blood you want to destroy there?"

The guards stare at each other, unsure what to do.

MC: I round on Yubel. "You, yourself, agreed she should be punished. Are you going to allow that girl to defy you?"

Yubel:
"I am not going to let her defy me and she should be punished. but what do I care if she is free or not? she can't defy me just like a fly can't defy a mountain. and her constant grudge against her beloved daddy is enough punishment for her."

MC: "You're too soft on her. No wonder she can get away with defying you, when she receives no negative consequences because of it."

"she doesn't defy me. I am the King, she is an immature child. what she thinks doesn't matter to me. who cares if a child thinks she has some control. let her play. when she finally grew up, then she will be able to defy me. but like this she is worthless

MC: Cocks an eyebrow. "Oh Really? You ordered her locked in her room, and where is she?"

Yubel:
"she ran away. Calico, that crazy child is in love with me. what could punish her more than showing that I don't care where she is or what happens to her?"

MC: "You don't want to admit you've been too soft on the girl and that's why she's out of control. She's out of control because you let her get out of control. If you don't believe me, why don't you ask your other children?" I call out. "HAOU! FANG! YOUR FATHER HAS SOMETHING HE WANTS TO ASK YOU!"

Fang: Comes when mother calls.

(Off to dinner and, afterwards, go to bed.)

Haou follows "hm?"

Yubel:
"oh and where were you? you didn't do anything for them. okay you fed them one time, so?"

MC: "I'm doing something now. Taking charge and bringing a little discipline and bringing a little structure to their lives. Things they didn't have growing up." I turn to the boys. "Fang, Haou, how was live growing up with your sister? Was she allowed to run wild and do as she pleased, making everyone's life miserable, while your father did nothing to stop her?"

Fang: Shuffled his feet, feeling uneasy. He looked to Haou for help.

Haou:
"no she wasn't. She didn't have any more rights than any of us and Father never approved of her behaviour which constantly broke her heart because she felt neglected."

Fang: "That's not true. I felt just as neglected as she did, but I wasn't mean, like her. She'd yell at me, call me stupid, and pull pranks and things on me to hurt me. I tried complaining to father, but it felt like he didn't care. She always got her way. Except... with your- I mean, Mother's claw. She hated it, wanted it destroyed, but I wanted to keep it, father tried to keep her at bay, away from me. It wasn't enough, though, she still went behind his back to do stuff to me, regardless."

MC: I cross my arms. "Hmm, and now she's still ignoring your authority, Yubel."

Yubel:
"you want to destroy her, I got that much. destroying someone is not teaching them any discipline. Let her see where her stubbornness brings her. Ignore her until she surrenders. for a girl like her, being ignored is the worst punishment."

MC: "Are you naive enough to think she'll surrender, just like that, without wanting revenge? I want to make one thing clear. I want her either captured, before she can exact that revenge, and place in the dungeon where she can't escape, until her punishment is concluded. If you refuse to recapture her, and she returns, we can only assume she'll be hostile. If she's hostile, she needs to be put down. Only IF, she returns and is hostile. I may grant her leniency if she comes peacefully under a white flag of truce, but we can't expect that from her, can we?"

Yubel:
"and what punishment do you want to give her if I may ask?"

(Bah. I'll have Sa'dia wandering around somewhere. Idk)

MC: "Same as you. I want her locked up. But, instead of her room, a more secure place. The dungeon."

Leona: Wanders around lost, when I come up to a strange girl, I had never seen before.

"Uh...h-hello..."

Leona: "Hello. Who are you?"

"Sa'dia Bakura. Who are you?"

Leona: Furrows my brow. "Bakura... why do I know that name?" Stiffens proudly. "No matter. As I've never seen you before, I can assume you have no connection to the mansion and my father and his wife. I am Leona, princess of this land."

Sa'dia gave Leona a confused look. "Wait what do you mean where have you heard my name before? The only other Bakura is my brother Touzoku and he died three thousand years ago along with our parents and village."

Leona: "Never heard of any Touzoku. But, I think, there might have been a king before my daddy, named Bakura. Father dethroned him and captured his necklace as a trophy. He keeps it hung in the dungeon along with a scrawny white-haired boy."
