Toccata and Fugue in d minor

Fugue: Draws his Katana and sends a wave of dark energy at the guard. "Besides, I'm an officer, who the hell do you think you are giving orders to me. Get the Fuck Out and leave me to snuggle with my wife."

The guard scurried out after barely managing to dodge the attack.

"Thank you." Toccata murmured, and closed her eyes.

Fugue: Holds Toccata as she's resting.

(I want to skip to maybe when they find out the genders of the twins)

-time skip-

Toccata went to her appointment.

Fugue: I go with Toccata to her appointment.

Gcar: I hand Toccata a specimen cup and point to the bathroom. "You know what to do."

Toccata went to do what she needed to do.

Fugue: Standing proud and tall waiting for Toccata to return.

Toccata returned and handed the cup to gcar and then waddled over to the exam table.

(She's that big, already, how far along do we want to say she is?)

Fugue: I help Toccata up onto the table.

Gcar: "Lay on your back and lift the front of your shirt showing your stomach."

((To when they find out the genders of the twins. Idk. I just wanted her to waddle))

Toccata did so.

(6 months, then.)

gcar: begins the exam. "They're looking healthy. Would you like to know their genders?"

"Yes, please. What about you, Fugue?"

Fugue: "Sure."

Gcar: I look on the monitor and point out the lack of a certain thing. "Two girls. The twins are girls."

"Beautiful baby girls." Toccata closed her eyes. "Melody and Harmony."

Fugue: "Beautiful, just like their mother. Melody and Harmony... I like those names for them."

Toccata looked at gcar. "Can we go now or is there something else I need to do?"

gcar: I finish up the exam and give Toccata a rag to clean herself up with. "Now you're free to go."

Toccata cleaned the stuff off of her stomach and then took Fugue's hand. "Come on. Let's go."

(and I guess skip to after the twins are born? Maybe we can skip a long ways ahead to when they're crawling and getting into things? Idek)

Fugue: Walks out of the infirmary holding Toccata's hand.

The twins were born. A few months later they were crawling and getting into everything. They were also teething.

Harmony got into Toccata's bag and started chewing on a peach cookie. Toccata took it away from her and gave her a chew ring from the mini-fridge instead. "You're still too little to eat these, sweetie."

Fugue: Is conveniently off working while Toccata takes care of the twins.

Melody: While mama is distracted with Harmony, I crawl out of our room to explore the halls of Forte Castle.

(Are you reading my mind again? I was planning to have a newbie guard catch one of the twins in the castle and try to throw her out)

Harmony lifted up her arms to her mama. "Mama! Up!"

Toccata smiled and picked her up, then turned around and noticed Melody was missing. "Come on, Harmony. Let's go find your sister."

(It made sense.)

Melody: Crawls over to a soldier standing guard. I think his boot is something to chew and drool on. So I try to eat the guard's boot while he's wearing and standing in it.
