"no, I mean the gas. wouldn't that knock you out as well?"

MC: "Never has before."

Yubel:
"okay."

MC: "So what shall we do now."

"go to sleep?"

MC: "That is a suitable idea. But I'll have my briefcase close, just in case Leona tries something. What are her abilities, as your daughter?"

Yubel:
"reflection. don't worry, I will keep you safe from her."

MC: "Will you? You haven't wanted to before." I pause. -Has Yubel really changed that much in my absence that it's willing to defend me?-

Yubel:
""of cause I will. I love you, don't I?"

MC: Taken slightly aback. "You've said it, but you've never wanted to defend me before. After all the threats you've made to me and on my life, I'm a little stunned that's all." I look Yubel over carefully. "Are you feeling alright? Should we call a doctor for you?"

Yubel:
"for me? you are the one who just woke up from the dead. I am immortal. why would I need a doctor? the only reason that I didn't protect you so far is that there was nobody threatening you. Now that you are afraid of your own kitty cat daughter I have to protect you"

MC: "Somebody was threatening me, before. You." I stiffen up. "Humph. I'm not afraid of that furball. I'm perfectly capable of defending myself against her. I don't need your help, dealing with her."

Yubel:
"well it looks like you need that suitcases help. and when you can't have a good deep sleep because of her I suppose you are afraid"

MC: "Well, I'm not. And this briefcase has served me very well, much better than someone that claims to love me but threatens me and my life."

Yubel:
"I was only threatening you because I was protecting myself against you. you prove yourself a strong and worthy opponent and I was afraid you might attack me if I am not the dominant one."

MC: "So I had to defend myself against you. I think I did well, in that respect. So If I can defend against you, I can certainly defend against a child."

(If you're not aware, MC is being Catty and vicious because she thinks that Yubel thinks she's weak. She's letting Yubel know that she's not weak and will take on all challengers by herself if necessary.)

Yubel:
"yes you did. with that pit you beat me fair and square. until I got you into it as well of cause. oh that love/hate mixture was such an intense feeling.

MC: "Perhaps I should never let you out of that pit, if you think I'm so weak. I'm not weak. Not against you, not against that little girl."

Yubel:
"of cause you aren't week. you stood a fight against a level 10 demon and nearly won though you are just a cat. So you are actually amazingly strong."

MC: "So I should have no problem dealing with that little girl if she chooses to challenge my leadership."

Yubel:
"of cause you won't have a problem. she is a child. So stop being so afraid of her."

MC: Growling. "I'M NOT AFRAID OF HER!!"

Yubel:
"prove it. go to sleep and sleep peacefully."

MC: "Fine, but I'm sleeping with my briefcase." I go into my room and go to sleep.

Yubel:
I giggle again "you look scared. you think a kitty is such a threat to you that you will need that thing?"
