(I know Rummy. I don't get the point of that game either.)

Jesse counts on her finger and then gives him two threes.

(The point is to have fun)

Callie: "Now it's Yubel's turn."

(yes, but I don't get how to have fun with Rummy)

Yubel:
I draw a card. "I summon King of Hearts in attack mode"

Callie: I chuckle. "No, ask if anyone Jesse if she has any kings, if she doesn't, then, you'll have to draw."

(Kronus is competitive, just like me.)

(no I am not.)

(Then why are simple card games not fun?)

(of cause they are, but not those that are just luck and nothing else)

(Do we want to timeskip through the game and pick a winner, either Kefi or Jesse and have them visit with Bakura or not?)

(I think they are playing the wrong game)

(Fine with me)

(Oddly enough, it works well with Yubel's character. So how do we want to decide who wins? Jesse or Kefi? Is anyone opposed to a tie?)

(Eh, fuck it. I'll just be generic with it, because I want to move on to the next part.)

-timeskip to the end of the game-

Callie: The game ends and a winner among the children is chosen. I congratulate the winner. Then I help take the kids back to the infirmary to visit with their father. I set Jesse in a chair next to Bakura, then look up at the doc. "Doc, you got a minute?"

gcar: "sure Callie, let's go into my private office." I look at the guards, "If something happens, come get me." I lead Callie into my office, closing the door behind me, keeping everyone but Callie and me out.

I go back to the room "so Bakura. Still saying you aren't my husband?"

"I don't know anymore...whoever you are. If...if I'm your husband...I..."

Yubel:
"there once was a man whom I loved. he was the first thing I ever loved and then we had a family together. and now he is gone and instead I have someone who doesn't even know my name."

"I'm sure that man still loves you...and he'll remember you again eventually..." Bakura muttered.

Yubel:
"I am not sure if he ever loved me. since we have children, he never was home. he was often in jail. but the few occasions when he was home, he didn't take care about anything. he was always roaming around frustrated. as if he didn't enjoy that he could spend time home"

"Maybe he...couldn't cope with defeat. Couldn't cope with the fact that he can't avenge his family like he wants to. He felt helpless...alone..."

Yubel:
"but he wasn't alone. we were all there with him. he could have always come to us, but he decided to be alone" I sit down next to Bakura "why would he chose to be alone?"

"He didn't decide. Despite having someone there he felt like he had no one like he'd lost everything."

Yubel:
"but he wasn't. why would he think that? how could I have been there for him if he was always roaming around in the forests?"

"He was lost in despair. Trying to find his way back..."

(I'm gonna say this is a very partial regaining of his memories. Like, bits and pieces of what happened after he and Yubel were dethroned are returning but he hasn't gained it all back yet)
