I stop and land next to Bakura "I could never kill you. I love you far too much. I will kill Diabound and thereby knock you out. and when you wake up the world will be empty and nobody will be left to harm you. you will live in peace and have time for yourself like you always wanted. and I will be dead as well." I shoot another energy beam at Diabound.

(I'm fascinated, reading what's been going on. Impromptu poof has inspired some good things.)

Bakura took the attack. "So I'd be alone. Then the only one who could harm me is me. I'd kill myself before I'd live alone. Sa'dia and Kefi haven't hurt me. You're hurting me by wanting to take them from me. You hurt me by killing Jesse. I don't care about what Waltz has done to me. Not anymore. That's all in the past. He's granted me a pardon and is going to leave me alone now unless he needs me to help him. Look, if you have to kill someone kill Mariku. He is the one who broke my arm. Not Fugue, not Waltz, not my sister. Not anyone. Just him. Be reasonable, Yubel..."

"the one thing you always wanted was some time for yourself and you will get it. I remember how I promised to reunite you with your old family but you didn't seem to want that. You don't want your old family, you don't want your new family. I will grant that wish. I am still your monster right? for you, I will destroy 99 souls. and once everyone is dead, you just need to pick up the items. they will all belong to you. now sleep, Bakura." with one of the two heads I finally get to grab Diabound's tail.

"No! What I wanted is to live in peace with my family. But you're not allowing that to happen. I will take care of my own revenge, Yubel." Diabound vanished in the next instant and Bakura continued to speak. "Stop being so damned unreasonable!"

Yubel:
"unreasonable? you are the one not making any sense. you wanted to live in peace with your family? then why did you spend all the time in prison instead?"

"Because Waltz wouldn't let me go. Then he finally agreed that I was more trouble than I was worth and decided to form a truce." Bakura clenched his fists. "Yes I know I was foolish for trusting Mariku. But you didn't say anything about his plan to stab me in the back. And I ignored my instincts. Hell the only reason I believed him in the first place was because he agreed to be my ally in exchange for something he wanted. I...ugh...but now we are going to live in peace once you come to your senses and stop thinking everyone is my enemy."

Yubel:
"open your eyes, Bakura. in what kind of truce do armed forces invade your home?"

"Fugue didn't invade. He had a perfectly legitimate reason for being there. He was looking for Callie and his search led him to our home. If he had come to arrest me that would have been a different story. But it was an emergency situation. I spoke to Waltz and he and I amended the truce to account for situations like that in the future. As for the second time, that wasn't an invasion either. I asked Fugue personally to escort me home and when I sensed danger I asked him to get Kefi home and return to assist me. If I had known you were following me I wouldn't have asked for his help. But seeing as how I'm not omniscient there's no way I could have known unless you helped me without me even having to ask. I didn't call for you because I thought you were still arguing with your bastard who by the way you didn't even seem to notice was at our front door when you got home." Bakura sighed  "Look, Waltz made the truce with me, not you. Therefore I have the final say on whether or not the truce is broken. And furthermore I'm perfectly capable of making my own decisions. All you're doing is trying to control me, ordering me around and then getting angry when I don't do what you want. I'm tired of that. I had to take care of myself when I was just a little boy so don't you say you know better than me about my best interests. You want to destroy those who are hurting me? Then destroy yourself, Yubel. You're the one who has done more harm than good ever since we were defeated."

Inuyasha was sitting on the grass, bored. "Ugh if that demon that's chasing you doesn't show up soon--"

"Well she's probably preoccupied with my brother. I think he went after her." Sa'dia replied

"Oh then that means I'll have to take the fight to her then. Fine by me." Inuyasha got up and looked at Alice and Elizabeth. "You two coming?"

Elizabeth: -she nods and gets up herself- Yeah, I'm coming.

Alice: -she gets up and nods- I guess I will...

Inuyasha ran off on all fours, tracking the scent he picked up earlier. When he reached the area of the forest where Yubel and Bakura were he unsheathed the Tetsusaiga and swung it at Yubel. "Hey, demon!"

Sensing this, Bakura shoved past Yubel and took the blow instead. He collapsed to his knees, breathing heavily. He wasn't seriously injured; fortunately the Ring's magic had protected him from the full force of the strike. The only injury he sustained was a cut on the shoulder.

Inuyasha was shocked and confused. "How could the Tetsusaiga hurt a human? Unless...you're not a human."

"I'm not." Bakura growled. "I'm borrowing a mortal body, yes, but I'm not mortal. Now why don't you answer one of my questions? What were you doing attacking my wife?"

"Your wife? So that girl I saw is your sister. Right...she said she was being chased by a demon so I agreed to help her."

"Your services aren't needed. I've got things well under control. Now leave." Bakura demanded.

Elizabeth: -at that, she just crosses her arms. no action today... what a let down- Fine then, I guess we can just leave. You say you have things under control, but that is what you think. For all you know, the demon could just push you to the side and go on some murderous rampage. If you say you have things under control, then fine. You do. We won't help, since you say you have things under your complete and utter control.

Alice: -and she's just floating there, frowning, not saying a word, and nervous-

"Look I'm trying to reason with my wife here so if you don't mind--"

Inuyasha interrupted. "Demons rarely ever listen to reason, kid."

Yubel:
"I destroyed myself already by shooting Jesse. I am dead. all that's left is my immortal love for you, trying to fulfil your wishes"
(ironic. Bakura fulfilled Ryou's wishes in the same way. "I always want to be with my friends")

"I can bring you back. I don't need the revival magic of this world to do that. You want to fulfill my wishes? Then come to your senses. Right now that is the only wish I have." Bakura clenched his fists. "I protected you from getting attacked. Is that worth nothing?"

Yubel:
"it's too late"

Elizabeth: Now that it's too late for you to do anything, now can we do something?

Zelda: -wondering how Berion's doing, she'll go over to his room to see how he is. once there, she knocks on his door-

Berion:
I open the door.

Zelda: -she smiles up at Berion when she sees him open the door- Hello, Berion. How are you today?
