Personality/About:Frédéric François Chopin is a renowned composer & pianist and and one of the main protagonists of Eternal Sonata. In the world of his dreams, he meets Polka, a young girl with an incurable illness, who is the same age his younger sister Emilia was when she died of tuberculosis. Chopin adventures with his companions in search of answers in a world which is slowly becoming his new reality. Frédéric is dressed very nicely, wearing a top hat, a frilled shirt, and a long gentleman's coat. Overall, his appearance can be considered quite formal in comparison with the dress of some of the other characters, and he also looks much younger than his given age of 39. Frederic is introduced to us alongside Polka, whom he treats like he did his sister Emilia. Despite being certain that he is in a dream world, he is very protective of both her and his comrades, and is also considered somewhat powerful and intelligent by them, if a little odd. Although he possesses great strength in battle in the dream world, he is very gentle and calm, speaking formally at all times and showing little or no signs of meaningful disrespect, even to his enemies.

Personality/About: Yuri comes across as sarcastic and cynical, possibly due to the way the nobility treated the people of the Lower Quarter. He seems to enjoy teasing others, especially Karol and Rita Mordio, although he does develop a strong bond of friendship with the former, becoming something of an older brother figure. Unlike many main characters in the Tales series, Yuri has a more fully-formed personality due to his matured age. He is an empathic young man who prefers to solve smaller problems from individuals rather than the larger, more political ones. Yuri grew up in the Lower Quarter of Zaphias with Flynn. According to many of the residents there, Yuri and Flynn were the best of friends who shared everything, such as the first sword that they bought together. Growing up as a commoner caused Yuri to develop a dislike for the empire's nobility, due to their haughty nature towards anyone less fortunate and their tendency to turn a blind eye to suffering. Thus, throughout his adventure Yuri takes the side of normal, average people over nobility.

Later living inside Yugi's body, he seems to become more of a caring, nice, and friendly man, even though he always had that in him, and the friendship of Yugi's friends had helped it reveal to others. Yami is a strong, powerful and skilled Pharaoh. He attempts to balance darkness and evil in his use of the shadow magic from his Millennium Item. Unlike Yami Bakura and Yami Marik, he uses it to protect others, rather than for personal gain, and to inflict punishment only on people who have sinned. His pride is his greatest strength and weakness. He is also wise and intelligent. He knows all the rules and details of how the game is played, as well as those of all games. He is also capable of reading the ancient language of the Egyptians, figuring out the riddles or clues and what they mean.

Personality/About: Jade is a Colonel serving in the Third Division of the Malkuth military and an exceptional wielder of fonic artes well known throughout Auldrant. He is always smiling, or at least cheerful, regardless of the events taking place around him, giving little indication of his true thoughts on anything.At first, Jade is rather enigmatic. He is sarcastic and witty, sometimes even to the point of cruelty. Jade has a snide, sarcastic response to even the most serious subjects, and loves to tease his companions. Jade's sarcastic and harsh words are often well-founded, and he uses them to express his often disapproving opinions. Other than amusement, Jade rarely shows any sign of his emotions. However, occasionally he loses his composure and his emotions burst out. Whenever Jade's feelings betray his calm and collected mask, he quickly distances himself from them. If he is furiously yowling at a character, when another asks what is wrong, he will quickly put on a small smile and act like nothing had occurred, which further rises suspicion among the party. Beneath his decidedly lively exterior lies a businesslike and scarily practical soldier's attitude. Because he is very adept at masking his deepest thoughts and feelings, Jade is often able to see through others when they try to hide things. Jade wields spears in battle, an unusual weapon for a spellcaster. Unlike the rest of the party, he does not physically carry his weapon in battles; rather he produces it seemingly from nowhere via a unique technique he developed and then sends it away again after finishing his attack. Like with Tear's wands, Jade's spears act more as a focus for his fonic attack power rather than a direct combat weapon, but he can still wield it that way if need be.

Personality/About: Flynn is Yuri Lowell's best friend, though they fail to present this fact properly. He is a part of the Imperial Knights and, unlike Yuri, wishes to change the Empire from the inside. Flynn, in contrast to Yuri, is a knight who would solve the larger problem before the smaller ones. He has a similar sense of justice to Yuri, but would rather solve them through politics. His differences in ideology causes him to frequently clash with Yuri, although the two are not really at odds with each other. This is best represented in the fact that Flynn chooses to work in the Empire, whereas Yuri chooses to work in the guilds.

Personality/About: Arietta is one of the six God-Generals serving under Van Grants. She is very timid, shy, and naive, though believes in her personal ideals strongly. She despises Anise for "taking Ion away" from her, which due to her lack of knowledge that the Ion she cared for is dead, makes her hatred largely unnecessary. Her determination in obtaining vengeance for the death of her "mommy", the "Liger Queen", drives her to fulfill Van's wishes. While she is deeply devoted to Van, she cares more for Ion, even betraying the other God-Generals in order to save his replica. Arietta was raised by monsters when she lost her real parents.

Abilities: Arietta is largely a supportive fonist, casting spells such as Barrier and Sharpness to increase her power. She specializes in Dark-elemental fonic artes, and shares her repertoire of offensive spells with Anise herself, such as Negative Gate and Bloody Howling, in addition to their shared Light-elemental spell, Limited. She is also able to cast fonic artes that have been altered by the effects of an FOF Circle to create spells such as Aqua Protection, Blaze Emitter, Crimson Riot, and Maelstrom.

Personality/About:  Tear Grants is a Seventh Fonist in the military wing of the Order of Lorelei, the religion overseeing Yulia Jue's Score. She lost both parents when she was still an infant, and has been raised as a warrior ever since.Despite a usually cold demeanor, Tear actually loves anything "cute", including Mieu, the bearer of the Sorcerer's Ring. But dispite this, she is oddly afraid of ghosts. She is modest about her own body and avoids revealing too much whenever possible
Abilities: Tear is a Seventh Fonist capable of casting unique spells known as Fonic Hymns. While Natalia's healing artes focus on single targets, Tears utilizes area-based healing artes such as Healing Circle and Revitalize. Apart from being one of the primary healers of the game, the aforementioned Fonic Hymns also grant powerful offensive spells such as Judgment and Grand Cross. Similar to Legretta, she can also make use of Eclair de Larmes, Holy Lance, and Resurrection. While she primarily remains a long-ranged caster, she is adept to fighting up close as well. Tear wields various staves and wands typical of the healer class, but her regular attack is unique in that her weapon fires out small orbs of fonic light a short distance, allowing her to keep enemies away. Some of her close-ranged artes consist of Nocturnal Light, Severed Fate, and Banishing Sorrow, which can be altered via FOF Changes into Inlay Nocturne, Fatal Circle, and Searing Sorrow, respectively.

Personaity/About: Estelle is an 18-year-old noblewoman who has spent all of her life growing up in Zaphias Castle. Unlike the typical cleric archetype, she possesses a high defense and a large amount of defense-related skills, and can hold her own in the frontlines as an effective melee character with an emphasis on tanking enemies. She is also capable of using light-based magic, such as Holy Lance and Photon.

--Moved to Japan, hoping that he'd be safe but finding out there were humans wanting to do experiments on him even there.
--Wears a hat to hide his ears; hides his tail with his pants in order to disguise himself.
--Was teased at school because the other students found out about his ears when the new teacher made him remove his hat due to a rule. After she found out why he wore it she made an exception for him.
--Grew up with a mistrust and mild hatred of humans due to his bad experiences and how some would trick him in order to take him back to the research lab

Since he’s part cat he has cat-like abilities and mannerisms such as enhanced hearing, sense of smell, and night vision. His teeth and claws are his main weapons but he does carry around a knife sometimes.

Like most cats he loves catnip but it makes him go crazy until it wears off.

He’s a skilled hunter and usually prefers freshly caught prey to something cooked. Make him angry enough and you may find a dead rabbit in your bed.
