MC X Yubel

Yubel:
I blink "you missed me? I missed you, too. but the world just wouldn't stop turning while you were dead. like I said, you are welcome to come back into the family. could you imagine being a mother?"

MC: "Possibly. But not while your daughter is sharing your bed and carrying your children."

Yubel:
"what kind of mother are you? she is also your daughter. how can you request that she aborts the children which she wished for?"

MC: "She's a child, she didn't understand what she was wishing for when she wished it." I ignore another, louder growl from Leona.

Yubel:
"stop talking about her like she wasn't there. you wished for my children, why should it be so unlikely that she wishes for them as well?" I turn to Leona. "sweety, please tell us, did you really want this?"

Leona: "I love my daddy, why wouldn't I want it?"

MC: "You don't understand what it means to be a mother or take care of a child." I groan. "Fine, keep the child. But it's you're responsibility, you will take care of it. I won't help you with it. But you are to no longer climb into bed with your father and your father will no longer join you in bed."

Leona: "You can't order me around! You haven't earned that right back! You were gone for my whole life!!"

Yubel:
"she is right, neither do you have the right to order me. you left me alone with raising the kids, now don't complain about my methods. if you weren't a useless mortal, you wouldn't have died. I love my children and I will make them happy. You may come back to the family, but you can't change everything around here. you should be happy that I let you live."

MC: "I won't return to a family that allows a father to sleep with his daughter to occur. I'll take my half of the kingdom and go."

Yubel:
"again, why should I give you half of the kingdom?"

MC: "Because you'll get no peace until you do."

Yubel:
"I could cut your arms and legs of, gag you and bury you. or how about that pit? you remember it, huh? you would have one hog every day."

Fang: "No! DAD!"

MC: "You won't."

Yubel:
I glare at Fang. ~stupid kid. of cause I wouldn't do that, but you made her know. because of you negotiations got a lot harder for both of us.~ "I could also let you go without giving you anything."

MC: "You'll give me what I want. Otherwise, we'll be standing here forever."

"what if I just kicked you out?"

MC: "I won't go, and I'll fight anyone that tries to force me to leave without receiving my half of the kingdom."

Fang: Not liking this at all. "Dad, just give mom what she wants. I don't like all this arguing."

Yubel:
I yell at Fang "Why should I? I can't give kingdoms to every pawn who asks for them! I am sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you."

Fang: Flattens my ears looking sad and frightened. "She's not just any ordinary pawn. She's our mother."

Haou:
"still a pawn. Fang, there is something you forget. she is our mother, yes. but this isn't only about her. this is about our subjects. she isn't the best queen. I read about the things that happened while she was queen and compared them to the events after her death. if she was queen, families would be torn apart and people would die. do you want that, Fang?"

Fang: "Families are already being torn apart. It's a no win scenario, Haou. If mother stays, Leona has to give up being dad's consort and have to raise dad's grandson/child alone. Not that that would necessarily be a back thing. I mean I love mother, but not that way.
If mother goes, exiled, imprisoned, or gets her own kingdom. We lose her again." I sniffle, wiping my eyes. "I don't want mommy to go away, again, but I don't like all this arguing."

Haou:
"I understand, but do you understand, too? we have to service a job. we are the royal family, so we are to serve our subjects. we are not allowed to let them suffer under Mother's reign."

Fang: "I understand, but I'm torn. I don't want mommy to go, but at the same time.. Leona... I mean I don't like Leona, but at the same time I don't want anything bad to happen to her or anyone else in the family."

Haou:
I understand, but when we let her have halve of the kingdom, it would be hundreds of families that would have to suffer much worse than us."

Fang: "If she were Leona, I'd be concerned. But she's not, she's mommy. How do we know she'll be a wicked tyrant?"

(Fang's got a point, here. MC wasn't really that bad. She made appearances where she was needed, but overall let the people live out their lives. At the festival, she let the people have their fun. She was bored out of her mind, but the people had their fun.)

Haou:
"there are records. have you ever heard of the festival massacre?"
