MC X Yubel

Yubel:
I mumble again. "fine. but don't expect me to like it"

MC: I return to our bedroom, place the briefcase on my nightstand and go to bed.

Yubel:
I hug her while we sleep and hold her close.

Leona: Furious that I have been the one to be replaced. I creep into mother and father's room. I can't harm daddy, because of his abilities, but mother's mortal. I can kill her, easily. I unsheathe my claws, raising my hand hit over mother's head.

Yubel:
I grab Leona's claw "what are you trying to do, young lady?"

Leona: I struggle to get away from Yubel's grip. "LET ME GO! IT'S ALL HER FAULT! SHE RUINED OUR FAMILY BY COMING BACK! SHE SHOULD HAVE STAYED DEAD! NOBODY WANTED HER HERE!!"

MC: I sit up on the bed, patiently, watching the scene unfold between Yubel and Leona.

Yubel:
You ruined our family. you tried to Execute Haou and Fang even before she showed up. you always tried to destroy everything. I loved you as my daughter but you crossed a line! You. will not. hurt her. Nor will you hurt anyone else of this family. get out of my sight"

Leona: Hisses. "NO! She's poison. She's turned you against me. I'm your daughter, not her. WHY DO YOU PROTECT HER?!?"

Yubel:
"because I love her. and I love you. if she would attack you, I would protect you as well."

Leona: "SHE'S A STRANGER?!? HOW CAN YOU LOVE HER?! IF YOU LOVED ME, YOU WOULD KILL HER AND HAVE HER BODY DESTROYED!!!"

Yubel:
"Leona, you are doing it again. you always want to destroy everything. don't do that. go to your room and go to sleep."

Leona: "NO!! WHY SHOULD I LEAVE?! MAKE HER LEAVE!! SHE'S THE OUTSIDER!! WE WERE DOING PERFECTLY FINE WITHOUT HER!! GET RID OF HER!!!"

Yubel:
I get out of bed, grab Leona and throw her out of the room. then I close the door and lock it.

Leona: Ignoring the pain of my own nails. I dig my claws into Yubel, so I can't be thrown from the room. Filled with bloody rage at the sight of my mother, sitting there, mocking me, I use Yubel as a springboard, flying through the air at her.

MC: I quickly grab my briefcase, pointing it at Leona. I activate the trigger for the gas to put her to sleep while she's in midair. Her trajectory hits me knocking her and me backward over the other edge of the bed, onto the floor.

Yubel:
I glare at MC "I would have gotten her again. she wouldn't have gotten even close to you. but fine, when you trust that stupid briefcase more than your own husband, then tell me why I shouldn't betray you as well!" I kiss the sleeping Leona on the lips in front of MC.

(when your wife betrays you with a rich handsome nice guy, that's one thing. when she betrays you with a briefcase that's another)

MC: "You were too slow. She'd have killed me before you could have gotten her, again." I look at Yubel with disgust. "Ugh, I'm going back to my hideout. Stay here with sleeping beauty, if you want. I'm done with you." I start to leave, taking my briefcase with me.

Yubel:
"wait. I am sorry. I got angry and acted without thinking." I push Leona out. "I am a guardian and when I see you getting protected by... that" I point at the briefcase "I feel the same way that you feel when you see me with Leona."

MC: "Not the same thing. This is an inanimate object, not a person. I'm not making out with this thing and forcing you to watch!"

MC: "Would you feel better if I let you handle the briefcase?"

Yubel:
"I am a children's trading card and you don't call me an inanimated object either. When you let that suitcase protect you I fee like you were cheating on me, okay? so stop doing it. and don't tell me it's not that bad. I could say that Leona is just a peace of flesh but you would still feel betrayed if I kissed her, so I don't want you to use that briefcase either. you wanted me to be faithful and you wanted equality, so you have to be faithful, too. ergo no briefcase!"

MC: "To me, you're not an inanimate object, you're a real person."

Yubel:
I hug her and kiss her. "Thank you. But I still feel cheated on when you are protected by something else. as if I wasn't good enough for you."

MC: "You're fine, for protection. However, it doesn't hurt to have a backup." I return to the room, looking at the sleeping Leona on the floor. "What do we do with her?"

Yubel:
"Calico, you are really making me angry with your ignorance. I could say the same about Leona. 'you are fine for love, but it doesn't hurt to have a backup.' Why won't you get it, when you have other protectors I feel as if you cheated on me. and I want you to accept that."

MC: "You aren't infallible. I've beaten you once, already. What if you fail and I wind up dead? Or maybe that's what you want."
