Callie:  After Bakura finishes grooming me, I smile, cuddling as close to him as I can without squishing our kittens.   "Our kittens need someone with them to keep them warm and protect them so early in their lives.  They also need milk.  So you see why I'm reluctant to leave them.  It'll be two weeks before their eyes open and they'll be big enough to leave the nest, I've made for them."

"I'll bring you food every day, then."

Callie: I give Bakura a kiss. "Thank you. Once these little ones have their eyes open, they'll be running everywhere underfoot, and we still don't know what to call the rest of them. I know one is called Akefia Jr. Or AJ for short, but what of the others? Do you have any suggestions, my love?"

Bakura shook his head. "I...I can't think of any."

Callie: "Do your best, sweetheart. You had a part in creating these kittens, you should have a part in naming them."

(I honestly can't think of any except maybe the names of the kittens they had last time when Q turned Callie into an actual cat)

(Go for that then. Shadow, Sally, and we need another girl kitty's name... how about Tipp or Koko? Yes, I liked giving animals unique names.)

interesting note about Koko, I got the name of that cat from a book.
If anyone on this site has heard of the series "The Cat Who..." They're mystery novels about a man that solves crimes using clues given to him by his cat.)

(Ah yes. My dad loves those books. The Cat Who Knew Shakespeare is actually one of my favorites. He has two cats though. Koko the boy and Yum-Yum the girl if I remember correctly)

YES!!! They're all my favorites, except for the last one. The Cat who had 60 whiskers. The end of that book was Tragic and ripped the heart right out of the series. I was royally pissed at the end of that book. There was another book to be published following that, The Cat Who Smelled Smoke, but it is unfinished and the release was canceled by the publisher. There are rumors that author passed away. It's sad, because I was hoping that Smelled Smoke would have cleared up all the butt hurt I was feeling at the end of 60 Whiskers. I was tempted to write a fanfic about it, creating my own continuance and ending, but could never get a good run on it.)

(I was looking them up on the kindle store and saw negative reviews for 60 Whiskers. Unfortunately my absolute favorite, the one I've read countless times, doesn't have a kindle version and I have no idea where our hard copy of it is. I haven't seen it in years. May just need to buy a new copy)

The Library is your friend. That's where I went to catch up on the Cat Who... series. My local library is a couple blocks down from me, once spring is here, to stay, and we get NO MORE snow, I'm going to start taking weekly walks there and read the Oz series, by L Frank Baum. That's my goal for Spring, Summer, and Autumn, this year.
By the way, speaking of your dad, since he's asked so much about my sister-in-law, I rooted through our caller ID to find his phone number, and gave it to her. So I wish him luck with that.)

Callie: I smile. "It's purrfect. AJ, Koko, Lucy, and Jiji."

"Mmm..they're perfect. And nothing in this world can harm them. Not Three-Eyes...not Richardson. No one."

Callie: "Speaking of Fugue, we haven't seen him around at all. What happened to him?"

Fugue: Still locked up in his room because WALTZ NEVER GAVE THE ORDER TO HAVE HIM RELEASED.

Waltz knocked on Fugue's door.

Fugue: Grumbles, laying on his back on his bed. "WHO IS IT?"

(I got caught up in Bakura and Callie's side of the story I almost forgot about Fugue. Lol)

"Fugue-San?" Waltz replied through the door.

(Fugue hasn't forgotten and he's very pissed off.)

Fugue: Glares at the door. "WHAT?!? I'M STILL HERE, AS PER YOUR ORDERS. COME TO YELL AT ME BECAUSE SECURITY AROUND THE MANSION HAS GONE TO HELL!! WELL I CAN'T DAMN WELL DO ANYTHING WITH THE SECURITY IF I'VE BEEN LOCKED UP IN HERE FOR MONTHS ON END, CAN I?!"

"Actually I've come to tell you I decided you can come out now."

Fugue: Leaps off the bed, flinging open the door. "About damn time. Do you have any other orders Waltz-sama?" That last word drips with venom.

"Stay away from Callie and Bakura...wherever they are now. Otherwise you can return to your normal duties.'

(Of course he didn't say to stay away from their children. Loopholes ftw?)

Fugue: "Fine." I storm off to reorganize the guards and give them hell.
