"Lost my...mind. Ha...I'm not crazy..."

Policeman:
"no. but maybe you took some head damage? maybe you slipped? anyway, please just be cooperative"

"I haven't...lost...my memory..."

Eevee: -she touches a paw to the pokeball's button and goes inside it. the ball shakes a few times and clicks, signifying her capture-

Malladus: -he blinks when he does that and grins, accepting it- Thanks.

policeman:
"Mr. Bakura... how do you explain the ring on your finger?"

Jack:
I kiss Malladus on the lips. "I'm so happy. a real friend. I always thought maybe I did something wrong, but I don't. everyone else is just crazy. except for you, Malli. thank you" I hug him and smile.

"What ring?" Bakura looked at his finger. "Wha? Where did this come from?!"

Malladus: -he blinks in surprise at the kiss and blushes a little, then he grins again- You're welcome... -he returns the hug-

(So now Waltz has an Eevee. Now what?)

the policemen shoot Diabound with exactly the effect they wanted: distraction. one of them throws a net over Bakura from behind, another one a gas bomb with sleep gas. (all the policemen wear helmets)

(The point of the idea is the play in which the present is given becomes part of the present itself. Rene might not like how the present is given, but he may be willing to forgive, once he sees and realizes that it was a special way to give him something nice.)

(Well, he could do some bonding with her. Needs about 3 hearts of affection in amie, so... I guess pretty good affection between them?)

MK: Hm... I think I'll go to the mansion and see if I can have a room there. Thank you. -blinks- Oh, and forgive me. Who are you?

(When Bakura is captured, then it'll be day. But Bakura is taking awhile to be captured, so we're stuck waiting...)

Abel: I bow to Meta, "I'm Abel Nightroad, a traveling priest from the Vatican. Pleasure to have met you."

MK: It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Abel. I am Meta Knight.

Abel: "The person that runs the mansion is a boy named Count Waltz, if you like, I'd be willing to escort you."

(I need to quit delaying and have Bakura fall asleep. Whoops)

MK: Ah, alright... I would like an escort, thank you.

Abel: "As you wish." I go with Meta, to the mansion. I bow to the guards, and lead the newcomer straight to the library where Waltz likes to hang out.

Abel: To Meta Knight. "From what I remember, Count Waltz likes books and reading. So he's usually found in the library if not his room." I politely knock on the door.

(Something for Kronus. If you want to look at the play that would give Rene his present another way. There is an old Chinese story about a boy that wished to give a present to his most favorite teacher. The boy couldn't afford to buy a present nor was he talented enough to make a present. So the boy traveled a thousand kilometers to the ocean to pick up a handful of sand from along the beach. Then the boy, holding the sand in his hand, returned a thousand kilometers back giving his teacher the present. When the teacher asked how the boy came about the handful of sand, the boy told his teacher about his trip, making the story, the journey, and the handful of sand, all part of the same present, thus impressing the teacher with the boy's thoughtfulness.
So the play, orchestrated by Fugue and the delivery boy, along with the dress, both are part of Fugue Valentine's present to Rene. It has it's ups and downs, pleasant moments, and unpleasant moments, but the whole is a present from Fugue to Rene.)

(Of course, another thing you could take into account, is because you've made it so clear that Rene hates it when Fugue does his job, that no matter the good intentions behind it. Once Rene opens the box and reads the card, he can still reject the present, because he's so upset at how the present was given.)
