I was about to shake the guards off as Bakura helped himself out. I push all the guards away and glare at Waltz "the winner has been determined" I fly through the halls of the mansion, pushing guards away like they were dolls, and grab my children. with both of them in my arms I fly after Bakura. "Do you want to fly home now, sweety?"

Bakura didn't hear her. Not only was he too far ahead, but his true self had also taken over. He looked back and growled as he saw Yubel pursuing him. "You want to fight me too even now that you've witnessed my true power?"

Yubel:
I get close enough so he can hear me. "no Touzu. I just wanted to ask you if you want to go home now. you prove your strength. now they have to rebuild the mansion. they will leave you alone for now."

"Home? I have no home." He frowned. "You fool. You don't want to mess with me. You don't know what I'm capable of. Don't follow me." His voice still had a demonic echo to it but it seemed for a split second he had regained his senses, long enough to try and warn Yubel that in his current state he was dangerous.

Yubel:
I blink with all 3 of my eyes. "You are... I see now. You are the demon that possesses my husband. I don't want to fight you. You are a part of him and I love all of him. and I want to ask you for one thing in your own interest. don't attack me. It would be your end."

(Bakura never told her about Zorc, did he? Or did she find out on her own earlier in the story and I either missed it or forgot? Or...did she use her third eye just then to see who was speaking)

"Then don't follow me."

(Damn. Now I want Laddershipping for some reason. Bakura x Zorc)

(she saw him with her third eye)

Yubel:
"as you wish. will you be home for dinner, sweeter?"

(does he still wear the wedding ring?)

Bakura flew off without responding.

(I don't know. I've forgotten what happened to it. I suppose he does)

Yubel:
I fly home and order Claude to prepare dinner. I play with the children for a few hours.

Bakura didn't return by dinnertime. He'd fled to the mountain cave he had hidden in before, having Diabound guard the entrance.

Yubel:
as Bakura didn't return, I get worried and go to search him. Bakura's true self is like a beacon, so I find him with ease. I fly towards the cave, but don't enter. "may I enter, Touzu?"

"I told you not to follow me."

Yubel:
"I just wanted to check on you"

(is he still wearing the wedding Ring?)

(I answered that already)

"I don't need anyone to check on me. I can take care of myself."

Yubel:
"I never doubted that. You are as strong as me, of cause you can take care of yourself. But I am interested in you. I love you."

"Which one do you love more? The one you married or the one who can destroy you?"

"you are the same. you are a part of him."

"Not completely. Yes I'm his true self but I'm still just a demon possessing him."

Yubel:
"not quite. I can see it. you tow are part of each other. may I come in?"

"Unless you have other business here other than checking on me, which you have done, no."

"I do have other business here. I would like to see your whole safe, not only the part you are showing me."

"I am perfectly fine. I don't need you checking up on me."

"I have more business here than checking if you are fine."

"Like?"
