(When you mentioned a raven on his chest, I was reninded of a grown up Robin fron the Teen Titans xD Went by Nightwing.)

Zelda: -she nods and enters the room- Have things been going well recently?

"Pardon me, I say that because I don't have a wife. Callie and I never had a chance to get married. And besides, her body isn't in this world anymore. There's nothing to bury. Now if you don't mind I'm overdue in telling her coworkers the bad news." Yami picked Caitlyn up and headed to where Callie worked.

"Very well then." Kirito rushed forwards and swung one of his swords in a downward strike.

Link: -and he does to block it with his sword-

The man nods "there can still be a festival to say goodbye"

Berion:
"I don't know any more. suddenly Bakura is best friends with everyone and is granted amnesty. where is the justice there?"

Kirito was surprised by how quickly Link reacted. He's fast! He thought. He swung again, this time with the other sword.

"Sorry but I don't need your services. Besides, most festivals are held in celebration. Why in Ra's name would you celebrate a death?" Yami replied without turning around.

(You want justice, Berion? Get a Death Note)

(interesting idea, but I doubt he'd use it.

(The man never introduced himself. And yes let's have a farewell party for someone who just died. That idea kinda rubbed Yami the wrong way)

Zelda: Oh, I see... My best guess is just that people live in fear, maybe. They fear of him taking over once more and ruling with an iron fist, making conditions horrible for the townspeople. Maybe they just want to please the beast to avoid that.

Link: -he attempts to block that sword with his shield, barely even making it-

Berion:
"I understand that. in fact I was the first to suggest not to imprison him any more but exile him and his family instead so they can live happily together. but an unjustified amnesty was never my intention"

Zelda: At least something needs to be done with him, but with any sort of truce or anything... Anybody doing anything about him from here would break it, and then there would just be chaos.

(He used the wrong word then. It's funeral)

The force of the block pushed Kirito back a bit. "You've got really good reaction time, Link." He smirked and charged again, using one sword to try and knock Link's shield aside and the other to aim for his shoulder.

(oh, my bad)

Berion:
"that's why I was against a truce all along. I don't know what to think any more. Waltz, Fugue, nobody here seems to have any respect for the gods and virtues that I grew up with."

Link: -chuckles- Thanks, I fought a lot before. -his shield is knocked away and he tries to move, but he ends up getting nicked in the shoulder-

Zelda: Yeah... I don't know what we should do about this then...

Berion:
"I- I doubt his competence. he didn't even make an oath to his people."

Zelda: -she nods in agreement- I know this matter is quite troubling, but... Would you want to try and focus on another thing? Something a little happier?

Kirito backed away. "I've fought a lot too. For my life...for my girlfriend..."

Link: -the cut was small, which was good. when he says that, he frowns a little- As for me, I fought across different times to save the very land I lived in. I worked with little help from others, and it was a difficult task. It must've been difficult for you too... But I never had a girlfriend or anybody to call special to fight for. My parents are dead, I have no family. If anything, I was fighting for all of the people of my land.

"I had to fight for my life and the lives of thousands of others. We were trapped in a death game. If we died in the game we would die in real life. After the game was cleared I had to rescue my girlfriend from another game and a man who wanted to take advantage of her."


(I might also add that Waltz is through dealing with Bakura. He decided that perhaps making peace with him would keep Bakura from causing trouble. Bakura wants peace as well. Then my NPC comes along and destroys that peace. Waltz has nothing to do with it and Bakura realizes that later on.)

Link: I see... Unlike you, all of which I was doing was real life for me. Once I defeated the evil man wanting to conquer all of Hyrule, things were pretty peaceful from then on. -sighs- People wanting to take advantage of others like that are sick. At least you got to her in time.
