A Day In the Life

"Well we need to figure out who it was that deceived you first. An ally of the fugitive perhaps? Go through the security footage in the dungeon from over the last few days starting with the night before you put Bakura in the nightmare chamber and see if you notice anything, will you?"

Fugue: "Yes, Waltz-sama." I sit down and get to work reviewing the tapes.

Waltz left and went to the library.

Kitty:
I hiss at her again when she touches me, but I don't scratch her. I am scared of the big hand that could break my neck.

Callie: "I won't hurt you, kitty." I hold my hand out to her. "Here, take a sniff, get used to my smell and my hand."

Kitty:
I sniff at the hand, accept the hand and go back to sleeping.

(off for baking muffins.)

Callie: I return to petting the kitty, wondering when Yami will come. "I'll have to explain to Yami that we're going to have an extra roommate for the evening until I talk to Waltz about the kitty."

(I forgot where I left Yami)

(Standing in Callie's doorway.)

Kitty:
I hiss at Callie again. ~stop touching me!~

(in 25 min I'm off again for the next load of muffins)

Callie: Stops petting the cat. "Suit yourself. I liked being petted like that when I was still a kitty."

The cat cuddles with Callie's leg and purrs. ~warm and soft.~

Callie: Lays still watching the kitty.

(15 min later) Kitty: "meow"

"I really would rather not wear them, Yubel." Bakura replied and went back to working out.

Yami entered his and Callie's room.

Callie: Watches the kitty. "I'm sorry, I don't understand, Kitty. What do you want? If I pet you, you get mad and hiss at me. If I don't pet you, you rub all over me."

Callie: I look up at Yami. "Hi, we have a new guest in our room, for the night."

Kitty:
I look at Yami. I stand up and hiss. ~my room. don't intrude~

Yubel goes back to watching him.

(to the kitchen again)

"It's a cat." Yami said. He went over to the bed. "Kinda territorial aren't you, kitty?"

Bakura looked at Yubel. "You can join me."

Callie: I shush the kitty. "It's okay, he lives in this room too, kitty. His smell is all over the place." I smile up at Yami. "Yeah, she followed me back to the mansion after my walk. I'm going to talk to Waltz in the morning to see if we can keep her. I used to be a cat once, too, you know. But I could walk and talk like humans, so it wasn't a big deal. I don't know about this kitty."

"Okay." Yami replied.

(Do you want to have Fugue report to Waltz about seeing Loki? Or Waltz could go to him)

Kitty:
I sniff on Yami's hand and lick it.

Yubel "I don't know. I have no attack strength."

(either way, works.)

Callie: "Come to bed, Yami. It's okay."

"What? Are you saying that because of that you can't lift weights?" He pointed to a pair of three pound weights close to his feet. "I don't think attack strength had anything to do with physical strength. If you can lift a human you can lift a three pound weight."

Yubel:
"nah, I'm just saying I don't need strength. or are you unhappy with my body?"
