Callie: Shakes my head and clings to Bakura. "No... No... let's just leave, I don't want anything to do with him. Please." I go quiet for a moment. "Akefia? Why are you still interested, after... after?"

"I was just going to put a dead rabbit in his bed." Bakura blinked. "Because that wasn't you're fault."

(Bakura you were not just going to put a dead rabbit in Fugue's bed. You were going to do that, then trash his room and leave the blood and fur of the other rabbits all over everything...)

Callie: "But if I had just listened to you.. then he... he.." I start crying again. "I want to talk to Waltz, maybe he can do something."

"Let's talk to Waltz then."

Callie: Holds onto Bakura and begins walking and dripping down the hall with him. "Waltz has to be able to do something. He's Fug- that guys's leader."

"Of course."

Callie: When we pause at the library door, I reach my paw up to knock.

"Yes? Come in." Said a voice through the door.

Callie: Enters the room, with Bakura. "C-Count Waltz? It's Callie and Bakura. We-we wanted to talk to you about something. Well something about Fugue and what..." I whisper this last part. "he did."

"What did he do?"

Callie: Holds close to Bakura. "Well.. he.. he..."

Fugue: Feeling something isn't right, I enter the library to see Callie and Bakura speaking with Count Waltz.

Callie: Sees Fugue. I get terrified and start trembling, burying myself into Bakura.

Bakura's ears twitched as he heard Fugue enter the room. "Want that evidence, three-eyes? Callie can't even look at you because she's so terrified." He looked at Waltz and told him what happened. "I smelled her fear and his foul stench in her room and on her fur."

Waltz looked at Fugue. "Is what they say true?"

Fugue:  "I'm in charge of security, I have to go everywhere in this mansion to make sure everything is safe.  My smell would be everywhere, wouldn't it.  The fact of the matter is, you have no witnesses, no video, no proof."  To Count Waltz, "These accusations are appalling.  Why would I be interested in Callie, anyway?  She's as antisocial as Bakura.  Locking herself in her room for a week and driving us all crazy with her meowing.  Then the moment she comes out she starts throwing around these wild stories to stir up trouble.  I've got no interest bothering with them.  I have other, more important, things to do around here."  I take a step further into the room.

Callie:  In my haste to get away from Fugue, I tear myself away from Bakura, heading over to an open window, sitting in the windowsill, preparing to jump out if Fugue comes closer.

(Fugue never outright denied the attack to Count Waltz, but Callie's reaction pretty much says it happened.  Who will Waltz believe, strangers he just met, or a chief of security he's known all his life?)

"She locked herself in her room for a very good personal reason. Actually she requested that I lock her in there because she trusts me. The foul stench of what you did to her still lingers. I can smell it even though you're nowhere near me. Don't you dare try to say you didn't attack her!"

Waltz raised his hand to silence Bakura. "Fugue-san...the fact that Callie is terrified of you isn't exactly helping your case...actually...it's very strong evidence against you."

Fugue: "You're going to believe them over me, Count Waltz?" I give Callie a very dirty look. -For all this trouble you've caused me, Callie, you will pay.-

Callie: Jumps out the window and runs away.

"Why wouldn't I? You may be head of security but that doesn't automatically make you innocent of every crime. If you recall I've dealt with similar incidents to what you're being accused of so I can tell if they're lying or not. Unfortunately Callie's reactions towards you are proof enough for me that they are telling the truth." Waltz tapped his foot impatiently. "Fugue-san...I must warn you that if you continue to lie to me your punishment will be much more severe."

Bakura noticed Callie run away so he left to go and find her, leaving his little parting gift in Fugue's room on the way out.

Fugue: I bow to Count Waltz. "Forgive me, Waltz-sama. I assumed you wouldn't care. I can arrange a search party to find Callie, if you wish."

"I don't want you going near her. Do you understand me?"

Bakura scented the air, trying to catch Callie's scent on the wind. When he did he followed it.

Fugue: "Fine, if she's in trouble, I'll just let her stay in trouble and watch."

Callie: Had crawled into some ruins and is hiding, shivering from the cold.

Bakura found Callie in the ruins.

"A search party isn't necessary anyway." Waltz mused.

Fugue: Bows, "As you wish." I turn to start leaving, then an idea occurs to me. "Waltz-sama, why are you so upset over what I did to Callie? Did you have an interest in her, sire?"

Callie: Hears the footsteps coming, I hide deeper in the ruins. I'm completely unaware that it's Bakura coming to find me.

"No. However you know my laws against it. If we were in Forte I'd have had you imprisoned."3#

Bakura twitched his ears. "Callie?"

Fugue: "I had good reason for doing it, Waltz."

Callie: Pokes her head out from behind a pillar. "Bakura?"

"A good reason? What might that have been?" Waltz asked.
