Fugue: "She rejected me. Nobody likes being rejected. I thought I'd punish her and be done with her. Bakura can have her, I'm no longer interested."

Callie: I crawl out from behind the pillar. "Is anyone with you?"

Waltz slammed his fist on the arm of his chair. "Why in EZI's name would you even assume that's a good reason?! If she'd chosen me would you still attack her like that? You're an officer of the Forte military. My military! Do you want me to have a bad reputation because one of my officers can't take rejection like a man? With conduct like that you're very fortunate we're not in Forte right now!" Waltz closed his eyes. "Get out of my sight. You're confined to your room until further notice."

(Suddenly I'm reminded of the M.A.S.H. episode House Arrest. I think that is the title. It's the one where Hawkeye punches Frank)

"No I'm alone." Bakura replied.

Fugue: "If she had chosen you, it'd be a different story. You can have any woman you want, and I can't say or do anything about it." Sighs. "Very well." I go to my room and stay there. I ignore the rabbits and pieces of rabbits.

Callie: I get to my feet, and go over to Bakura, hugging him. "I'm glad it's just you."

"Waltz was dealing with Fu---three-eyes when I left. He didn't sound too happy."

Callie: "Do you want to go back? I don't know if I want to live there with him there. I think I want to see if I can find my own house to live."

"I don't want to go back either."

Callie: "Then, where will you go? If you stay with me and my time comes around again... I wind up doing to you, what was just done to me."

"If we find a house to live in you and I can be in separate rooms during that time."

Callie: Thinks a moment. "To be honest, even with my head clear, I wouldn't have minded your touch on me." Gets sad. "But I suppose after that... person had his hands all over me, you're no longer interested. I'm sorry, Akefia."

"Who said I wasn't still interested?"

Callie: "It's only natural. You hate humans and I smell like a human, after what happened." I move away from Bakura, looking at him sadly. "If I'm to find a little house of my own, I should get going." I turn and start off towards the town. Feeling very cold and shivering.

"That stench will go away eventually. I know your scent and I can pick it up. Don't worry. I'm still interested.

Callie: "We'll see. Besides, I have nothing I'm holding back, anymore. If you want, you can have it. But you don't want it, anymore." I start wiping my eyes, crying. "You hate me."

"What do you mean?"

Callie: "He took what I would have given to you, willingly, and you hate me for it." I find some porch steps belonging to a house, and sit on them. I'm crying, shivering, and starting to not feel good.

Bakura followed her and sat down next to her, putting an arm around her. "I don't hate you. Whatever gave you that idea?"

Callie: "I don't know. Things feel different, now." I turn my head and sneeze.

"Let's get you inside, Callie. This house looks like it'll do nicely."

Callie: I try to stand but feel a little dizzy, making me fall right back down on my rear end. "I don't feel so good."

(All that running around outside, after a shower in your clothes, no wonder you got a chill and are sick, Callie.)

Bakura helped her up. "Hold on to me." He tried the door to the house. It was open. He then picked her up and carried her inside and set her on the couch. He felt her forehead. "You're burning up. I'm not surprised. You took quite shower in your clothes and then went running around outside." He rubbed the back of his head. "Want me to get you a change of clothes?"

Callie: Looks up helplessly at Bakura, not understanding him. "Huh...?"

"Well...you said you don't feel well. And your clothes didn't dry from the shower before you went outside."

Callie: "uhhh..." I moan, and start undressing. "Warm..."

Bakura blushed a little. "Uh...I'll get you a blanket." He left to get her one. You're not her mate. You have no business seeing her like that. he scolded himself.

Callie: Feels sad when Bakura goes, even though he explained it to me, I don't understand it. Fever is to high. I reach my paw out, wanting him to hold it.
