Toccata and Fugue in d minor

The guard looked down and saw Melody chewing on his boot. "Hey! How'd you get in the castle? Did you just wander in here on your own?" He picked her up.

(Also Waltz could totally be the girls' godfather if you want)

(Sure.)

Melody: Drools an answer to the guard.

"Come on, kid. Let's find your parents. They must be somewhere in the city." The guard said. He started carrying Melody to the entrance of the castle.

Just then Toccata showed up with Harmony. She saw a guard had Melody and was taking her EZI knows where. "Hey! Where are you going with my daughter?!" She demanded.

The guard turned around. "O-oh well...um...I thought she had wandered into the castle so I was going to find her parents in the city."

"You're new on the job aren't you?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Then you wouldn't know that her parents are myself and Fugue."

"We'll how do I know you're telling the truth? And what are you doing in the castle? For all I know you could be a spy. I bet you are a spy and you kidnapped these two girls." The guard nodded at Melody and Harmony.

Toccata frowned. "Falsely accusing an officer of treason and kidnapping is a serious offense. You could be imprisoned for it, or worse killed. You do understand that, right?"

The guard laughed. "You an officer? And in the Forte military at that? You're just a kid." He walked over to her and grabbed her wrist. "I'll see what Waltz has to say about this."

"Let me go!" Toccata demanded.

Harmony started crying.

Melody: Not liking the way the strange man is holding mommy, I bite the guard on his hand.

"OW!" The guard let go of Toccata's wrist. Toccata took Melody from him. A moment later she spotted another guard nearby, one who knew who she was. She called him over. "Go find my husband. Take Harmony with you." She handed Harmony over to him and then twisted the arm of the guard who attacked her behind his back.

The other guard nodded and went off to find Fugue.

Melody: Falls from the guard's grasp, landing on my tush, I start crying.

Fugue: Having been retrieved by the other guard, I arrive on the scene to see Melody crying and Toccata having a guard in an arm lock. "What the hell is going on here?!?"

(Toccata took Melody from him but okay)

"This hotshot newbie accused me of being a spy and trying to kidnap our twins." Toccata explained.

Fugue: Grabs the guard by the throat. "You got a problem with my wife and children you've got a problem with me. How bad do you want to die?"

"Uh...um..." The guard hesitated.

Fugue: Backs the guard into a wall. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't murder the person that assaulted my children and insulted my wife?"

"I didn't assault your children." He nodded at Melody. "She came crawling over and started chewing on my boot and I thought maybe she crawled in here and her parents were somewhere in town. Then that kid you claim is your wife said the girls were hers and yours and claimed to be an officer. She showed me no proof."

"You should have known I was telling the truth. Didn't Waltz tell you to read the files on all the officers? Or maybe you didn't report in with him on your first day."

"This is my first day..."

"Then you should be filling out paperwork for Waltz not hanging around spewing false accusations."

Fugue: Hears Melody still crying. "Then why is my daughter crying?"

"I tried to take her from him and she fell." Tickets muttered. She picked up Melody. "I had Harmony in my arms so it was all I could do to keep a hold of her and take Melody. Then I saw the other guard and handed Harmony to him and sent him to get you."

(Tickets?)
Fugue: Tightens my grip on the guard's throat. "If he hadn't been harassing you and my daughter in the first place, nobody would be crying or hurt." I sigh. "I'm not convinced." I draw my katana and cut the guard's head off. Then I pick up Melody and Harmony. "There, there, girls, Daddy's here to protect you."

(Auto correct)

"If you hadn't been conveniently working, Melody wouldn't have wandered off when I got distracted with Harmony trying to eat a Peach Cookie." Toccata stuck out her tongue.

Fugue: "I have to work sometime to take care of you and the kids."

"I know. And their godfather is busier than you are"

Fugue: "Hmm, I wonder if the kids would like to visit with their godfather for a little while."

"Why not?"

Fugue: Carrying the kids. "You know Waltz's schedule, Toccata, is he busy today?"

"Not too busy, no."

Fugue: "Then let's take the kids over for a visit. Maybe he'd like to babysit for awhile, while I take a break from working and spend some alone time with my wife."

"Sure." Toccata looked at Melody and Harmony. "You two want to see your godfather?"

"Gahfadder Walls!" Harmony clapped her hands happily.

Melody: Already trying to get out of Daddy's grasp. "GafWallz"

Fugue: "Okay, girls, lets go visit your godfather." I start off towards the throne room with Melody so the kids can visit Waltz.

Waltz was reading when Toccata walked in with Fugue and the girls. "Fugue-san. Toccata. This is unexpected."

"The girls wanted to see you, sir. We were wondering if you'd like to babysit them for a bit."
