More modern times (Zelda x Abel)

Zelda: True, but yeah... It'd be pretty difficult. -she blushes faintly as he puts his arm around her, but when he says he'll help protect her from them, she looks up at him with a thankful smile- Thank you, Abel.

Abel: I smile, too. "Shall we try to find the portal to your world, maybe some of your friends can help us."

Zelda: Well... It wouldn't hurt to look. If we do find it, after things are settled and everything, then yeah. Maybe some of my friends can help us.

Abel: "Do you want to go back to your house and rest the rest of the day or start looking for that portal, now."

Zelda: Hm... How about we go back to my place and prepare some food and supplies to take with us when we go looking for the portal? After that we can rest, and the next day we can go searching for the portal.

Abel: "That sounds like a fine plan to me."

Zelda: Alright. Shall we head on home now? We could get a taxi or walk on home.

Abel: "Whichever you prefer, my lady."

Zelda: I guess walking home is fine then.

Abel: Kept my arm around Zelda, to protect her and keep her warm. "We'll stick together this time, so I can keep you safe."

(About time I have Abel make a move... only took 21 pages. That's what I get for playing a priest.)

Zelda: -blushing some, she smiles thankfully again- Thank you, Abel. I really appreciate that.

Abel: I kiss her on the cheek. "So, taxi or walk? I still only have four dinars to my name."

Zelda: -she blushes some more when he kisses her on the cheek- I was thinking that we could just walk home.

Abel: "It is a lovely day for a stroll."

Zelda: -when they arrive back at her place, she goes on ahead and unlocks the door, then proceeds to hold it open for Abel-

Abel: I take the edge of the door from Zelda. "A gentleman should hold the door for a lady, not the other way around." I smile.

Zelda: -she smiles back- Thank you.

Abel: "You're quite welcome, Milady."

Zelda: -with that, she enters the house- Is there any kind of snack that you like, Abel?

Abel: "My bottomless pit of a stomach will take anything. So it doesn't matter what snacks I have."

Zelda: -she chuckles- Alright. I'll go on ahead and make a snack bag for each of us. -with that said, she goes to the kitchen and gets out a couple of insulated lunch bags and starts preparing an array of things like fruit cups, nuts, and a couple sandwiches to take-

Abel: While she's gone, I smile to myself and wait eagerly for her return.

Zelda: -when done, since everything can stay well in the refrigerator, she puts the bags in there and returns- Everything, so far as snacks go, is ready for when we leave and look around tomorrow. Just in case we do find the portal... well, I should bring along my dress and crown.

Abel: Grins at her. "Bring whatever you think might help, my Princess."

Zelda: -she nods and gives him a small grin in return- I will.  Now that everything's all set for tomorrow, we can rest and relax now.
