More modern times (Zelda x Abel)

Link: -when he sees that, he chuckles- He must be pretty tired after everything that went on today. Getting Zelda back home and all... -he looks around the house- Well, it looks like Tiara and Navi must've done well on their own. -he looks back at DL- Do you wanna head on to bed, or do you wanna do something else first? Oh yeah, and before you do, let me do something quickly. -with that, he quickly retrieves the bouquet of flowers DL had given to him earlier from Epona's saddle pouch. he then comes back inside, closes the door, and then puts the flowers in a vase filled with water- There, done.

DL: "I'm not sure. I'm not really sleepy, but I don't want to disturb Abel on the couch."

Link: Well... We could always go upstairs to my room, assuming you just wanna talk or play a board or card game.

(What if, at some point, they played some sort of game like strip poker? Or some board game with stripping rules applied to parts.)

DL: "I don't mind." I wait for Link to lead the way up to his room.

(It can be whenever we want cx and we can discuss what the rules could be through the characters for whatever kinda game it'll be.)

Link: Alright. -so he leads the way up to his room, and once there, he shuts the door- I hope Impa comes to trust Berion more. I think she may be a bit trusting of him, but I think another part may have been revealed during dinner. She must've seen that they have an interest in each other, and maybe Impa is a little more harsh on him for that. I don't know why, but it could possibly be that she wants to make sure he's a good man for her. -he goes over to the closet and opens it up, then pulls out a couple board games and a deck of cards- What would you wanna play, or do you wanna talk?

(I'm good with that.)

DL: I nod, agreeing with Link. "Yeah. Abel seems like a good guy. A little strange and goofy, but over all a nice guy. Impa's got nothing to worry about with him, but she's got to be protective of the Princess. It's her job." I look over the games. "It's your room. You pick what we do. Talk or game. I'm up for anything."

Link: True. -he looks at the games- Hm... How about we talk and then possibly play a game? -he sits on the bed- What should we talk about though?

DL: I stand fidgeting. "I'm not really sure. We can talk about anything really."

Link: Well... Why were you still so afraid and silent during the banquet? Everyone was fine with you, but still... You rarely ever spoke.

DL: I rub the side of my arm, not looking at Link. "It's just, I'm still uncomfortable. I know what Gannon did. I know what I did. I can't run or hide from that. I am what I am."

Link: Dark Link... -he gets up and comes over to him- The past is the past, and yeah, there's no changing that, but now is now. It's a new day, a new time. You are who you make yourself out to be, and you made yourself out to be a good man. You changed to good. The past doesn't matter now... -he places a hand on his shoulder- You are who you are now, a wonderful and good person. -he offers to give him a hug-

DL: I return Link's embrace. "I just feel so guilty for it all." I weep on Link's shoulder.

Link: There there, it's okay... It's not your fault for Ganon's actions... Honestly, if there was any good from those actions, it'd be you. -he hugs him and gently pats his back-

DL: I whisper. "But I still feel guilty."

Link: It's okay, there's no need to feel guilty... Everything is fine now, everything is good and right... Everyone likes you, I like you... Everything's okay now...

DL: "But I still feel like I need to do something to make up for it, but I don't know what."

Link: Being good is just fine; you don't need to do anything. But if you absolutely want to do something, well... We could possibly see about getting you into the knights like me.

DL: "But so much bad... to Zelda, to Impa, to Darunia, to Zariu, to you. I have to make it right."

Link: Well... What do you think could help you get past this?

DL: Sobs harder. "I don't know. I just feel so horrible."

Link: -he tries to comfort him more, hugging him a little tighter- It's okay, Dark Link... I'll always be here to help... I can help you get through this.

DL: Goes quiet after awhile. "I'll never belong among your friends. Nothing I do can ever make up for what happened."

Link: Dark Link... It's not your fault, and it never was. You are your own person, your own being. Besides, everyone is fine with you. They didn't mind when you sat down to eat with them. And even if you continue to say this stuff... At least know that I'll always be your friend.

DL: "It is my fault. I attacked you in the water temple."

Link: Even if you did attack me, it's alright now. The past is the past, it's only a memory now. It's a thing I have forgiven you for. Everything is fine now, with Hyrule all recovered for a while now.
