A Day In the Life

"yes, sure, why not?" but then I remember the jacket and stand up to get it. I hold it behind my back. "close your eyes Fugue, and don't open them until I tell you to. I have a present for you."

Fugue: Raises an eyebrow. "If you're giving me something dirty, you know I don't have to close my eyes."

"oh, you have to close your eyes. don't soldiers learn to obey orders? don't worry, you will like your present. just stand still, close your eyes and let me give it to you."

Fugue: "If I close my eyes, are you going to have to close the door to give it to me?"

(Close the door = moving it to somewhere more mature.)

Rene closes the door

(I'm only asking because I have nothing to do on this thread right now. And I'm totally going to have Loki pull a Peter Pan and disguise himself as Waltz.)

(Why not? I suppose since it's in a separate place, we timeskip over what's going on with Rene and Fugue, I can put Fugue to bed, and wake him up for Bakura's nightmare.)

Fugue: "Goodnight, Rene." I give him a kiss, then roll over and go to sleep. The next morning, an army of guards and myself march into the dungeon. "Bakura, are you going to come peacefully or are we going to have to drag you, kicking and screaming, like a child."

(Exactly. Continuing like the events have already happened while playing out those events elsewhere)

"I'm not going anywhere..." Bakura muttered. "You're not fighting fair with all those guards. Shall I even the playing field?"

Fugue: "Try it. I have no problem slaughtering your monsters and weakening you, before tossing you into the fun house."

"We'll be fighting on my turf. Foolish mortal..."

Fugue: "Go ahead, I'll throw as many guards at you as it takes."

"Oh well. More souls for me. And I'd love to add yours to my collection but it's not worth the effort."

Fugue: "Yeah, Yeah, whatever. So you coming?"

"Why should I? I could just stay here and rot, you know. Lie to your precious leader and leave me in here. And while you're at it, tell Callie not to bother bringing me food anymore. She's just wasting her time."

Fugue: "If you ever hope to see your family, again. You'll go through it."

Callie: Entering the room to hear Bakura's comment about me wasting my time bringing him food. "It's my time to waste, isn't it."

"So I go through it and I'm free? Is that what you're saying? Well perhaps I have another way of getting out of here."

Fugue: "Your freedom is ultimately for Waltz to decide, but going through that room might be a step along the way to getting him to agree to it."

"Do yourself a favour and get your head out of Waltz's arse. Maybe then you won't need three eyes to see." He smirked. "Three-eyed freak." He added under his breath.

(You...probably shouldn't have said that, Bakura)

Fugue: Draws my Katana. "J'ACCUSE!" I fire off a wave of dark energy at Bakura in the cell.

Callie: I grab onto Fugue's arms, holding him before he can attack Bakura, again. "THAT'S ENOUGH!"

(I have to admit that was way too good to pass up though)

"Ngh..."

Fugue: Struggles to get out of Callie's grasp. "Fine, I'll put away my Katana, but he's still going in that room."

Callie: Releases Fugue so he can put away his sword. "Fine, but no more attacking him for no reason."

Fugue: "Agreed." Unlocks the cell, and picks up Bakura by his neck. "Coming?"

(Aw but he did have a reason, Callie.)

Bakura tried to pull Fugue off of him but couldn't. "Blast this mortal body. Why couldn't I get one stronger?"

Fugue: "Shut up." I pull Bakura from his cell, by the neck, drag him unceremoniously up the stairs, to the training room. I hurl Bakura, like a javelin into the room, slamming the door, locking him inside. Then usher the audience into the control room to watch Bakura's progress on the monitors.
