Ghirahim: -when he comes over, he shows him all of the food currently in store- The spices are kept elsewhere, but you will learn to cook with all the different kinds of foods and spices here. Sure, you go out and eat raw food freshly killed, but I prefer mine to be cooked. And at some point you could even try some of it.

"Maybe..."

Ghirahim: Trust me, an expertly cooked dish, seasonings, display, and all, is quite the thing to taste for the first time.

"Maybe if it was cooked by someone who can cook instead of someone who is just learning. And where do you get these spices? Do you hunt them or what?"

Ghirahim: You are just learning, yes, but if I ever feel generous enough, I may cook something up for the both of us. And spices, like plants, must be grown. However, some spices take some grinding and such to get them just right.

"Hmph. I don't see you being generous without asking for something in return. I mean don't you have your own lackeys to do what I'm stuck doing now?"

Ghirahim: Clever boy. You see, if you do an exceptionally well job on your day's chore's, then I will consider making such a meal. -he blinks- Oh, I can summon an army of them and then more, but they are practically retarded. I'm lucky if one actually manages to clean well enough to live through the day.

"Peh. So you pick me to do all your dirty work instead of teaching them how to do things?"

Ghirahim: You see, the thing is that they can't learn anything much at all.

"And you could find some other pathetic mortal to do your bidding?" He sighed. "I could have taken care of that wolf myself but..." He shook his head. "Forget it. It's nothing."

Ghirahim: I couldn't, for the rest of the people still dwell in the sky... In a place called Skyloft. I cannot get to there, and even if I could, Link would come to kill me at first sight.

"You couldn't lure some poor soul down here? The only reason I'm not up there is because I was down here when I arrived. So no one up there knows me..."

Ghirahim: No, I can't there is no way of communication between the surface and the sky, and the only way to get up high enough to where they are is by loftwing... None of which dwell here upon the surface.

"Hmph. I see..."

Ghirahim: Good. But now... This is where you would go to get the meats and vegetables. The next area over is where to get the spices. However... Before you can learn to cook, you must learn what the instruments to cook are. -he closes the door to the food containment area-

"Okay..."

Ghirahim: -he comes over to the cabinet and drawer area- This is where I keep the dishes. -he opens the upper cabinets- These are the bowls, plates, and cups. Be careful with them, though. They are the best dishes i could get, like everything else here. Oh, yes. As for drinks, I have a wine cellar in the basement. -he opens a few drawers- These drawers contain the necessary silverware and cooking instruments, the utensils being the salad fork, dinner fork, dessert fork, teaspoon, soup spoon, dessert spoon, bread knife, and dinner knife, all in that order in the first two drawers. The others contain the tools to prepare the food. -he opens the bottom cabinets- The bottom cabinets contain other necessary tools to prepare food, such as bigger mixing bowls and items of the like. -he steps aside for him to observe- Ah, and as for drink glasses... When we are to have wine, use the glasses with the longer neck. The shorter ones are for water if we are to have that with our meal. The basic cup would be used for coffee in general, but sometimes other drinks if the occasion arises.

"I...er...that's a lot to keep up with..." Bakura shifted his feet uncomfortably. "Why can't things be kept simple?"

Ghirahim: It is, but if you wish to create labels to help you keep track of things, then feel free to. When the first meal is prepared, I shall show you how to set up a formal plate setting. -he looks back at him- Why can't they be simple? Well, I only want the best.

"That's all you care about? Perfection? No one is perfect. I mean...you've probably made mistakes before haven't you?"

Ghirahim: You claim that, but you are wrong. -and when he asks him if he made any mistakes before, he doesn't bother to answer, but he does give him a harsh look-

"I haven't yet seen anyone who is perfect, or who hasn't made a mistake or two before." He blinked. "I've known you for less than a day so I don't know enough to really make a judgement."

Ghirahim: Well, you have met one, and that is me. You may have known me for a short time, but you will come to know that I am perfect.

"That remains to be seen." Bakura's ears twitched. "Anyway..."

Ghirahim: Anyway, I need to show you where the wine cellar is. -he closes the drawers and cabinets and motions him to follow him down a hall-
