Neko!Bakura x Ghirahim

"When did I ever agree to be your servant? I certainly don't remember ever doing so." Bakura replied indignantly.

Ghirahim: -he looks back down at him with a harsh expression- Did I say you have a choice?

Bakura clenched his fists. "Bastet dammit..." He sighed. "Fine..."

Ghirahim: Good. -with that, he places a hand on his shoulder and teleports them both to his castle-

Teleportation wasn't a form of travel that Bakura was used too so when they arrived he stumbled a little, feeling a bit dizzy. "Next time, I think I'd rather walk. At least then I won't nearly fall on my face. Cats may land on their feet but I don't have quite the same coordination when I'm disoriented."

Ghirahim: Okay then. -he takes a brief glance around, and they were in the entrance area of the castle- Well, I might as well show you around then. -he gestures for him to follow as he starts walking off-

Bakura followed, focusing more on taking in his surroundings than whatever Ghirahim was saying. His curiosity got the better of him and he wandered off in a random direction, wanting to explore the place on his own.

Ghirahim: -a minute later he notices that there are no more footsteps behind him and he turns around. great, that little rat... he backtracks and tries to look around for him. after all, this castle was big! he could easily get lost-

Bakura somehow ended up on the roof. He just stood there, admiring the view of the landscape and watching the sun set. It was at that moment he started feeling homesick. Not for Japan but for his birthplace. The desert sands of Egypt were beautiful at sunset. He sat down and closed his eyes, reminiscing about the days before his life was ruined. He got so caught up in his memories that he was no longer aware of his surroundings.

Ghirahim: -when he can't find him, he teleports up to the roof and finally spots him. he comes on over to him and simply stands behind him, then he suddenly speaks up- Why did you stray away?

Bakura was snapped out of his thoughts. "Curiosity. I wanted to explore and I ended up here. I was watching the sun set and was reminded of home...where I was born."

Ghirahim: I see. Well, I suppose I'll give you a minute or so more before we continue the tour. This castle is big, and unless you know your way around like I do, it is easy to get lost.

"It's getting late...perhaps we should continue the tour tomorrow. As for me I'd like to spend the night up here. Under the stars."

Ghirahim: ...Fine. I expect you to be up here in the morning, and if you're not, you won't like your first assignment.

"I like to hunt first thing in the morning so...give me about an hour at the most."

Ghirahim: -sighs- Fine, but I expect you at the gates or entrance hall of my castle no later than an hour after my wake.

"The only problem is I don't know when you wake up. So unless you tell me now it won't be my fault if I'm late."

Ghirahim: I wake at nine each day, sometimes ten.

"Well that doesn't help much but..." Bakura shrugged.

Ghirahim: For you, I suggest getting up at eight to finish things inthe morning.

"I told you. I hunt first thing in the morning. Usually just before sunrise." Bakura curled up and draped his tail over his nose. "I might point out that cats sleep as often and as long as they want, whenever and wherever they want."

Ghirahim: That is a cat, not a human. Besides.. people wake up cats as much as they want too. -he turns around- I will see you tomorrow morning. -and he leaves-

"I'm part cat, or did you forget." Bakura closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Ghirahim: -well, if Bakura doesn't obey his orders, that's his fault. he'll make sure he'll follow them though, even if it takes a little time. but when morning comes, he wakes up right around 10 this time-

Bakura had woken up at dawn to go hunting. Unfortunately he wandered too far away from the castle, and couldn't find his way back. Something was masking his scent trail and it wasn't the prey he was carrying back. He tried to find his way back without the scent trail but just ended up getting more lost than he already was so he climbed a tree to see better and saw the castle way off in the distance. He flicked his tail irritably and headed back in the opposite direction he'd come from, climbing trees every few minutes to check to see if he was going the right way.

He managed to get back only five minutes late, and his appearance left much to be desired. Leaves were in his hair and he was covered in dirt.
