More modern times (Zelda x Abel)

(I think we came up with Tiara for the Fairy, I can't remember the name of the dark's horse, either. We'll just make something up. So roommates works.)

Abel: I start and jerk, straightening up and smiling. "Hello. Are you Link?"

(Okay.)

Link: Yeah, I am... how do you know?

Abel: I breathe a sigh of relief. "Zelda told me where I might find you, if she and I got separated in her world." I nod towards the house. "I assume that's your house. I'm Abel Nightroad, a traveling priest from the Vatican. It's nice to meet you."

Link: -he blinks in surprise- Zelda? Is she really back here in hyrule then?!-he nods- Yeah, it's my place. It's nice to meet you, Abel.

Abel: "Yes, we found the portal together, and I brought her back." I struggle with my bags, again. "Impa came to greet us when we arrived. She and Zelda went on ahead, me... well." I drop all the bags I'm carrying. "Sorry."

Link: -when he hears that news, he smiles- Thank you! Everyone in the kingdom has been really worried about her absence! -he nods- I see... -when he does that, he shakes his head- No, it's okay. If you want, we can take a short break at my place. I'm almost done making lunch and I wouldn't mind making another sandwich. When we're done, we can head out.

Abel: I grin. "That would be wonderful." I blink in disbelief. "Did you say lunch? I'm starved."

Link: -he chuckles and nods- Yep, lunch! You want me to help you with your bags?

Abel: "If you'd be so kind. And I'll help you with lunch in return."

Link: Thanks. -with that, he picks up some of his back and heads on into the house. he calls out again- We got a guest, Dark Link! He helped the princess get back to Hyrule! She went on back to the castle with Impa while he had to walk! He got lost, so he's gonna take a break here for a little bit before I help him to the castle! You can come if you want!

Abel: I carry what I can and follow Link. When Link calls out, I see a new person descend the staircase. This one looks just like Link, except that he's wearing black clothes. "Hello, I'm Abel Nightroad, a traveling priest from the Vatican. Are you two brothers? You look so much alike."

DL: "We're not brothers. I'm Dark Link."

Link: -he sets down some of Abel's bags by the couch- Yeah, we aren't. The way we are related is kinda... different. It's just that we look very much alike, but Dark Link just has darker features like hair, eyes, clothes... -he blinks- Oh, almost forgot! I should get back to making lunch. -with that, he heads back to the kitchen to finish up lunch-

Abel: I set my things down, too. "Nice to meet you both, anyway." I follow Link into the kitchen. "I promised I'd help with lunch."

DL: "I will too, after we've eaten, we can head to the castle. We can take Epona and Anope, splitting the baggage between the two horses and Abel can have the choice of either riding with me or Link. How are you at riding, Abel?"

Abel: "I'm afraid I'm not very good with horses. But I can hang on while you guys ride. I appreciate the help."

Link: -he nods- Thanks again, Abel. -he starts back on lunch- Well, if that's the case, you could ride with me if you want, Abel. Epona's a sweet horse.

(If you want DL to take that as offense to thinking his horse isn't as nice as Epona, then go ahead cx)

DL: "Anope is nicer." I huff.

Abel: I sense an argument coming so I keep quiet and help with the food.

Link: -he looks over at him- How would I know? I've barely been around your horse! I've been around Epona ever since I met her, and she's a really sweet horse.

DL: "Cuz you never gave Enope a chance and don't want to be around him."

Link: Well maybe I'll be around him in time, but today, I don't think I will.

DL: "Always an excuse..."

Link: -he sighs- Look, today's certainly going to be a busy day with the princess's return, and odds are there may be some sort of celebration going on tonight for it. That's why I thought I wouldn't be able to really interact with him today. -along with Abel's help, he finally finishes up lunch. when it's all good, he serves it out on the table-

DL: "That and you don't like my horse." I sit at the table with Abel and prepare to eat.

Link: I never said that. -he sits down too and waits for Abel-

DL: "Then why won't you get to know him?"

Link: Maybe because I've been busy these past few days.

DL: "Maybe because you don't like my horse. If you don't like him, it's fine. Just don't bullshit me over it."
