A Day In the Life

"Shall we go search for them now? Or is it just me and the guards?" Jade thought for a few moments. "Let's send out some scouts to find out where they might be."

Bakura continued watching her until she was out of sight. He stayed there for awhile longer, minding his own business. He'd determined two things. That the forest was his territory now and that his enemies had no right to arrest him unless he was on theirs.

Fugue: "It's just you, to start. I've got to finish up Berion's training. Scouts work fine. You have free rein to do whatever it takes to get Bakura back in his cell."

Callie: I look down at my feet, noticing that a shoe was untied, she bent to fix it.

"Right." Jade went to find a few guards to act as scouts.

Bakura sat down and leaned against a tree, staying well within the forest boundaries.

Fugue: Went off to find Berion.
(if Berion isn't done with his thing with Zelda, that's fine. Fugue can roam for a bit.)

Callie: I finish with my shoe, standing up. I feel someone watching me. I look around to see who it is.

(give me one minute to read and reply before yo continue with Callie and Bakura)

(okay, read everything. I like where it is going.)

Yubel:
I wake up to find an empty bed next to me. "Bakura?" no reply, so I repeat it, louder this time "Bakura?" still no answer. ~where did that idiot go again? can't he ever stay home? I hope he didn't go back to the town.~ Yubel quickly gets dressed and runs out to search for Bakura

Bakura picked up a stick on the ground and pretended to examine it.

Yubel:
I keep roaming through the forest and calling for "Bakura?"

Callie: Squints, peering into the forest, seeing a figure. "Bakura...?" I walk over to him, staying on the town edge. "How are you doing?"

Yubel:
I reach the edge of the forest, but on a place far away from Bakura. I look at the town ~I hope he didn't go there. please, you stupid dork, show me I can trust you"

Bakura looked up when he heard the voices. One was Yubel's and the other was Callie's. He sighed and looked up skyward. "Well. You know I've escaped again. Are you gonna run home and tell your buddies where I am so they can arrest me in my own territory? I'm not hurting anyone. I'm minding my own business and staying out of your way. I'd like to know what is so bloody important about me sitting in that cell. Why can't I live in peace...with my family?" Bakura buried his face in his hands. "That blonde haired brat is so determined to keep me locked up that he doesn't care if he's tearing me away from my family. I guess I'm not allowed to have a family then."

Callie: Blinks in confusion, cocking my head to the side. "I wasn't planning on telling Fugue or anybody else, anything. I just wanted to know how you're doing. But if you don't want to talk.. I'll go on to work." I start to turn away.

(my groupmembers arrived. I hate this. you are online, I'm busy; I have time, you are offline.)

Yubel:
I hear a familiar voice and approach it. "there you are, Baku." I spot Callie "good morning, Callie" I turn back to Bakura "what were you thinking running off like that? couldn't you have left a note? I was worried about you"

"My wife is looking for me. Do you still want to talk?" Bakura looked up when he heard Yubel. "Speak of the devil..." he sighed. "I was feeling restless. Decided to take a walk."

(Well yesterday I had choir rehearsal so I got off the computer a bit early and then decided to eat something and watch Emergency on Netflix before I left)

Callie: Backs away from Yubel, visibly frightened. "Uh... n-no. I should get to work, I don't want to be late." I turn and start to run in the direction of my restaurant.

(There goes Bakura's kill. You all know Callie is scared of Yubel.)

(Bakura was unarmed anyway. Most he could do is hit her with a stick which probably would have done more damage to the stick)

(Bakura's a man, Callie's a woman. Bakura could have easily overpowered her and killed her with his bare hands.)

(Maybe.)

Yubel: I sigh relieved "please at least leave a not so I know where you are. I thought you might be in danger."

"I didn't know where I'd be going...other than just wandering aimlessly..."

(In Ryou's body? nah.)

Yubel:
"okay, have a nice day, Callie" I turn back to Bakura "please come back home, okay? there are two children to take care of"

(Ryou may be scrawny, but he's still got a little muscle.)

(yes, a little. a woman can be stronger than a man)

(Calie has no fighting skill, unless you count bashing people over the back of the head with large objects. Bakura had a chance to attack her, Yubel arriving blew it.)

Bakura got up. "I know. But I'm so important to that blonde haired brat and his arse-kissing, three-eyed subordinate that I'm not allowed to be with my family." He slammed his fist against the tree next to him. "I suppose I'm destined to be alone then. If they'll go as far as arresting me in my own territory when I'm staying out of their way, trying to live in peace, then what's the point?" He clenched his fists and then ran off, out of the forest. He wasn't headed for the town or the mansion. He didn't know where he was going. He just wanted to be alone.
